The Probability Of Chance
With the discovery of DNA our understanding of biology
and genetics has grown. Modern science has proven that
it is impossible to produce an entirely new organism or
organ system (such as the cardiovascular, immune, and
digestive systems) by random mutation. Random chance
cannot account for the complex design of DNA. It is
statistically and mathematically impossible. The chances
of winning the state lottery every week of your life from
the age of 18 to 99 are better than the odds of a single-
celled organism being formed by random chance. Likewise,
the probability of spontaneous generation is about the same
as the probability that a tornado sweeping through a junkyard
could assemble a 747 from the contents therein. It's impossible.
The evidence all points to the unavoidable conclusion that
we not the product of chance or evolution, but the result of
intelligent design...
Getting Hammered
Hammers have the same effects on people that
they do on things. Not the kind of hammer that
builders use; I'm talking about the difficulties of
life that hammer us. Just as an object cannot remain
the same when it gets a hammer applied to it, you
can't remain the same when you're being hit by one
of life's hammers...

Watch Out Kid...
An eight year old boy is walking down the road one day
when a car pulls over next to him.
"If you get in the car," the driver says, "I'll give you
$10 and a piece of candy."
The boy refuses and keeps on walking.
A few moments later, not to take no for an answer,
the man driving the car pulls over again. "How about
$20 and two pieces of candy?"
The boy tells the man to leave him alone and keeps
on walking.
Still further down the road the man pulls over to the
side road.
"OK," he says, "this is my final offer. I'll give you
$50 and all the candy you can eat."The little boy stops,
goes to the car and leans in.
"Look," he says to the driver. "You bought the Renault,
Dad. You'll have to live with it!"

Once a UNC* sophomore went to the library to get
a book. A few days later, she returns and says to the
librarian at the counter, "This book was very boring.
It had too many characters and too many numbers,
so I would like to return it."
The librarian says to the other librarian, "So here
is the student who took our phone book!"

Reading The Book
Seek the Lord while He may be found, Call upon

It's Show Time!
We had been working on our production for our college's
Junior-Senior Banquet for months. It was an original
musical drama, written and directed by my roommate
and me, based on the book of Esther. The orchestra had
rehearsed night after night, the chorus had rehearsed,
the actors, the light crew, the sound crew; we had prepared
as much as we could. The night before, we had the dress
rehearsal. But all those months of preparation and practice
came down to one evening - the night of the big performance,
and it was show time!

minds for the onslaught of often anti-Christian
messages they'll face in the classrooms?

worrying can add a single hour to his life?
