The Coast Guard was called out to rescue a small sailboat in trouble off the North Carolina Coast. The rescue boat called the foundering vessel on the radio to get the its location: "What is your position? Repeat, what is your position?"
And the reply came back, "My position? I'm Professor of English at UNC*."
