A man answers the phone and has the following conversation: "Yes, mother, I've had a hard day. Jennifer has been most difficult - I know I ought to be more firm, but it is hard. Well, you know how she is. Yes, I remember you warned me. I remember you told me that she was a vile creature who would make my life miserable and you begged me not to marry her. You were perfectly right. You want to speak with her? All right."
He looks up from the telephone and calls to his wife in the next room: "Jennifer, your mother wants to talk to you!"

I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride, beautifully dressed for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Now the dwelling of God is with men, and He will live with them. They will be His people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of thing has passed away. --Revelation 21

"It is the duty of nations, as well as of men, to own their dependence upon the overruling power of God and to recognize the sublime truth announced in the Holy Scriptures and proven by all history, that those nations only are blessed whose God is the Lord." -- President Abraham Lincoln

Berlin, Germany (API) - Leaders of Adolph Hitler's hometown buried the slain dictator's elder sons, Hans and Wilhelm, and a grandson Saturday, their bodies wrapped in German flags in a sign the family considered them to be martyrs.
Also Saturday, the military said a U.S. soldier was killed and three were wounded in a grenade attack on their convoy east of Berlin on Friday.
The soldier was the 52nd to die in combat in Germany since President Truman declared major fighting over on May 8. So far, 167,000 soldiers have died in WW II, 20 more than during WW I.
The European radio broadcaster reported that another U.S. soldier also died Saturday morning in an attack north of the capital, but the military had no details on the incident.
