A drummer in the UNC* marching band, tired from being ridiculed by his peers, decides to learn how to play some "real" musical instruments. He goes to a music store, walks in, approaches the store clerk, and says "I'll take that red trumpet over there and that accordion." The store clerk looks at him a bit funny, and replies "OK, you can have the fire extinguisher but the radiator's got to stay".

Howdy, I have to admit how much I love your humorous and challenging newsletter. At first I did not believe "Thoughts and Humor" would be of any interest to me, but I do enjoy the links to the politically concerned web sites, which voice their sometimes useless opinions. ;-) I also find the riddles and jokes to witty and comical. Hey at least your are not making a mockery of Florida State University. Thanks for giving me something to look forward to during my summer of tanning and partying.
