Legend has it that there is a coffee bar in Raleigh where, in the Ladies Room there is a very special mirror. If one stands in front of the mirror and tells the truth, one is granted a wish. However, if one tells a lie ---*poof*------- you are instantly swallowed up by the mirror, never to be seen again. Soooooo....A Wake Forest student of questionable looks walks into the ladies room and stands before the mirror and says, "I think I'm the most beautiful woman in the world."*Poof* the mirror swallows her up. Next a rather large Duke student stands before the mirror and says,"I think I'm the sexiest woman alive". *Poof* the mirror swallows her. Then, a UNC student comes in and stands before the mirror and says, "I think...". *Poof*

November 19, 1863 At the dedication ceremony for a cemetery for Union soldiers at Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, President Abraham Lincoln delivered his Gettysburg Address, commonly considered one of the finest speeches ever uttered by any politician. Lincoln articulated an eloquent memorial to the thousands of Union soldiers who fell on the battlefields of Gettysburg, and argued that "government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth."
A UNC student named Anni was taking her first skydiving lesson. The instructor told her to jump out of the plane and pull her rip cord, explaining that he himself would jump out right behind her so that they would go down together.
Anni understood and was ready.
Just before it was time for Anni to jump out of the plane, the instructor reminded her that he would be right behind her.
She jumped, and, after being in the air for a few seconds, pulled the rip cord.
The instructor followed her out of the plane. He pulled his rip cord but the parachute didn't open. As he strug- gled to pull the emergency rip cord, he shot downward and darted past Anni.
Seeing this, Anni quickly undid the straps to her own parachute, and yelled after him, "So you wanna race, huh?"
Physicist Gary Thomas of the University of Colorado's Lab for Atmospheric and Space Physics says mysterious ice clouds that have recently surfaced over parts of America are confounding scientists. Strangely, the frigid air masses seem to appear wherever Senator Clinton is.
There was a UNC student who was sick and tired of being ridiculed for attending UNC, so she decided to fix it by wearing a red N.C. State hat.
Later, she was driving along a country road between Chapel Hill & Raleigh when she saw a shepherd with his flock.
She decided to see if she could pass as a N.C. State student and if she did indeed get any smarter.
She pulled over to the side of the road and asked the shepherd if she could guess how many sheep he had she could have one.
The shepherd thought this was an unusual request, but he agreed. The UNC student thought about it for a minute and said, "one hundred and fifty." The shep- herd said she was right and that she could pick a sheep to take home.
She did and as she was putting it into the trunk of the car, the shepherd stopped her and said, "If I can guess your real school, can I have my dog back?"
